Nothing special, actually, but google has changed it’s output, so here is zgooglecalc 1.2 widget. Actually in Leopard you can just type any numbers into the Spotlight field and it will calculate the results, however, the widget is somehow usable.
Thanks to the William Li who updated the code in widget, I appreciate.
Very well done indeed. zgooglecalc remains very useful because of the unit conversion capabilities, for example. For me it has always been a primary use of it.
Actually Google Calculator does a lot more than Spotlight’s calculator. Expressions like “300 psi in kilopascal” or “45 usd in eur” work in Google Calc, but Spotlight either gives you a list of possibly matching documents, or else says “No Results Found”. Please don’t give up on maintaining zgooglecalc!
Google changed output again
Well, the widget is definitely useful for unit conversion which is something Leopard cannot really help you with. And Google must have changed their output format again.
hey, they updated the code again, now

checkstr = “”;
startstr = “ “;
endstr = “ ”;

I think an update is due… the widget refuses to work for me.
